IIHMR Delhi was proud to contribute to the International Conference on Innovations in Health Information Technology in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) a forum that brought together researchers, policymakers, academicians, and industry leaders to reflect on how digital health can advance equitable and inclusive healthcare systems.
The discussions ranged from evidence-based frameworks and risk-prediction models to real-world digital health applications, highlighting how technology when guided by research and policy insight can strengthen health systems and expand access for underserved communities.
A key highlight was the contribution of Dr. Preetha G S., who emphasised the need to build inclusive digital health futures, particularly by making health technologies accessible, intuitive, and responsive to the needs of senior citizens. Her perspective reinforced the importance of designing digital solutions that are human-centred and grounded in public health realities, rather than driven by technology alone.
The conference reflected a shared commitment to collaboration, innovation, and responsible use of digital health where academic leadership plays a vital role in shaping solutions that are scalable, inclusive, and globally relevant.
