IIHMR, Delhi alumni are very well connected with their alma mater. They are torch bearers of the Vision, Mission and philosophy of IIHMR, by helping and building systems in public health as well as in hospitals and healthcare organizations by contributing immensely with their management skills. Today, 14 batches of IIHMR Delhi alumni work diligently towards improving management practices in the health sector for hospitals and healthcare organizations. With their modern management skills and hard work, they have reached the top positions in various healthcare organizations. Over the years, IIHMR alumni have contributed and associated with the institute in the following ways:

  1. Alumni meetings: IIHMR organizes Alumni meets every year that give alumni a chance to reconnect with their friends, faculty members and staff members. In the year 2023 and 2024 the alumni meets have been organized in the month of Feb and the last alumni meet was organized in April 2025. Alumni meet has been given a formal name as “Samvayan”.
  2. Alumni visit to institution and interaction with students: The institute frequently organizes Alumni Talks for students where IIHMR Delhi alumni members are invited to address the current batch students and guide them regarding academics, career prospects, etc. During last three years 11 such talks have been conducted by the institute.  Alumni also take part in the selection process of new students and contribute in conducting group discussions and personal interviews. They also train their juniors in interview skills and provide them feedback during mock interviews conducted by IIHMR, Delhi. In research and training also our alumni support their alma mater as resource person.
  3. Alumni mentorship programs: IIHMR Delhi Alumni Mentorship Program is an initiative to build a strong and dynamic relationship between alumni and student community, one that is mutually beneficial to both professionally. The program aims to provide opportunities for students to learn about work and life outside the campus.  The goal of a mentorship program is to accelerate the personal and professional development of mentees. This is achieved by providing mentees with guidance, advice and feedback from alumni mentors.
  4. Alumni contribution in placement and internship: IIHMR alumni play crucial role in the internship and placement every year. They share opportunities in their respective organizations with the placement cell of IIHMR from time to time. Another most important contributions of alumni is in the form of referrals and recommendations that they provide for placements and internships. Alumni driven placements/internships have been done in organizations like AQVIA, EMOHA U4Red etc.
  5. Alumni support in enhancing academic quality: IIHMR, Delhi has alumni representation in Internal Quality Assurance Committee (IQAC) where they provide their experience in shaping quality aspects of the institute. Alumni also play instrumental role in updating syllabus. They help in the revision of syllabuses with their expertise and knowledge. This contribution helps IIHMR to keep syllabus updated as per the current scenario and as per need of the healthcare sector.
  6. Resource raising by IIHMR alumni: Financial contribution by Alumni is very important as it shows a sense of gratitude towards alma mater.
